- Allied sectors are blue on the world map.
- The units in allied sectors do not attack you.
- You can still nuke, use UFOs on, or go into Battle Mode with allies.
- In Named Alliances the leader controls the invite/kick list.
- There are three types of alliances :
- Pairwise - just between you and one other person.
- Capitalist Named Alliance - The richest player in the alliance becomes the leader at the end of the day.
- Military Named Alliance - The player with the most sectors in the alliance becomes the leader at the end of the day.
